The smoke-vision lantern is currently applied for patent and it is lighter than previous models by 30%. The lantern is also brighter than previous models by 20% with the brightness of 23,000 cd(950 Lux).
The characteristic of this smoke-vision lantern is that it maximizes the user convenience. While old models didn’t indicate the battery status, the smoke-vision lantern’s switch indicates the battery status in 5 levels. The lantern also adopts a cradle type for a convenient charging.
The smoke-vision lantern is equipped with a functional switch for turning the personal safety alarm on and off and the front part of the lantern has a built-in laser point for communicating with other workers and sending location information at fire sites. Once the lantern is fully charged, it lasts up to 8 hours.
CEO Lee Kyung-gam of Musun Techwin said that “Since the lantern is designed for a special place, we deeply considered about conditions such as heat radiation, flame resistance, and shock during the development. We recently completed procurement registration and currently working on KFI certificate.”
